The “Guest Manual” is where you describe all the “House Rules” and other information you’d like guests to read when staying at one of your properties.
After creating the manual, you can download a QR code and place it in the property. Guests will scan the code and access everything on their phones.
This makes it easier to keep all guides updated!
To create a new guide, access MENU > TEMPLATES > GUEST MANUAL, and then click “+ Create Manual”.
In case this option is not on your menu, check here how to enable "Additional Services".
On the first tab, enter its title and status, then hit “Save”.
On the second tab, enter the content of the guide.
Besides the version in English, which is mandatory, you can click the ES/PT icons on the right side of the fields and enter the text in Portuguese and Spanish.
Type @ to see a list of available tags. The tags will be replaced by the information related to each property, which must be previously registered in the system.
This allows you to personalize the guide to each property while using the same template.
Example:
The same template is used for property “House 1”, located in “Bella Vida Resort”, and for “House 2”, located in “Festival Resort”.
If you use the tag @resortdescription in the template, MAPRO will include the description of “Bella Vida” in the Guest Manual for “House 1”, and the description of “Festival” in the Guest Manual for “House 2”.
You can write everything in just one page, or divide the content into sections.
To create a new section, click the option “Add Page”.
It’s not necessary to save the pages individually, save them all at the bottom of the page.
Use the "X" to delete the section, and the 🔼🔽buttons to expand or minimize it.
On the last tab, select which properties the Guest Manual applies to.
You can also assign the same property to multiple guest manuals. When you access a guest manual, any property already assigned to another manual will appear in red. However, you can still select it and add it to additional manuals as needed.
After creating the Guest Manual template, click the “QR Code” button on the main page.
You’ll then see a list of all Guest Manuals.
Even if you use the same template for more than one property, an individual QR code is generated for each one.
Click the property to access the code.
On the new window, you have the option to download the file with the QR code, and also to preview the guide.
The previous page also shows the option to see the Guest Manual.
This is how the guest sees the manual on their phone.
The button at the bottom of the page shows the other sections.
The guest can go through all the pages you added here.
