How to Add a New User to MAPRO

This guide is about the registration of your company’s team members.

Access other articles to see how to register the homeowners of the properties you manage or third-party companies that provide services for you.

 

To add a new user, go to USER’S MENU > ADD USER or USER’S MENU > REGISTERED USERS > ADD USER.

You will need the person’s name and e-mail address.

It’s important that the email is not registered in the software yet.

You can’t have, for example, a cleaning company and a laundry company with the same credentials. Each address can be used only once!

Enter their personal information, select the language in which the user prefers to access the system (which can be English, Portuguese, or Spanish), and then choose the “access level.”

The access level is a set of permissions that allow you to choose what each team member can see in MAPRO. You can choose to show your maintenance team only the information they need to complete their tasks, like work orders’ schedule, inventory, and reservations calendar. You can hide booking details, financial reports, commercial menus, etc.

There’s a list of preset access levels, but you can ask our team to create more or edit the permissions if necessary.

Just keep in mind that all users under the same access level will have the exact same permissions.

If you want just one person from sales to access the payment details in bookings, it’s necessary to have this one person in another access level.

To check all the information available at each level you can log in with the email of a user linked to that level and your master password.

After choosing the access level, you can click the last tab and check the box if you wish to send the user a password set-up email.

After that, hit “Save”.

The user will receive an email with a link to access MAPRO and register their password.

The phone number field is optional, but it’s necessary if you’d like to send them SMS alerts.

This service is available for maintenance users, for example, to remind them of scheduled work orders.
